Double Punch Days this Weekend at Knit Picky!!

This Friday & Saturday, in honor of the start of the 2012 Summer Olympics, we're giving you DOUBLE punches on your purchases.  I'm still drawn to this simply elegant and easy pattern and will start mine tonight.  The Age of Brass & Steam is a free pattern by Orange Flower on Ravelry.  It is beautifully knit with beads and would be a great, easy project to knit during the Olympics, don't you think??

Stop in today or tomorrow from noon-4pm to select your perfect yarn and coordinating bead pack.  Don't forget your tiny crochet hook to add the beads.  Please post a comment here if you choose to start this project or any other project during the summer Olympic games.  As they say....Let the Games Begin!!

Yarn Camp...Two Weeks Open for Young Fiberistas!

Yarn Campers are creating Adobe plates that become artistic wall art!  We have two more weeks open for 2012 Yarn Camp....the problem is we have only 2 students signed up for each of the two weeks.  Our minimum is 4 students and we can take up to 7.  Please share this with your friends & co-workers to see if we can find a few more campers!  I don't want to disappoint the young girls/guys looking forward to the upcoming weeks.

Heritage Silk for Your Luxury Knitting Pleasure

This one's called Orange Crush.  But I can imagine it in Grape Crush, Key Lime Pie, Lemon Meringue, and Chocolate Silk Pie.  Now I'm hungry for something sweet!

We have had a lot of excitement lately about our Summer classes, and thought we would give everyone an easily accessible list of the great classes we have to offer! Fourth of July Sale Starts Today!

That's right, our 4th of July sale starts today, June 26th. It will run until this Saturday, June 30th.

In preperation for Knit Picky being closed July 3-6th for cleaning, re-organizing and general shuffling, we're putting all of our books on sale. All books are 40% off, and once the store re-opens on Saturday, July 7th, they will all return to their regular price. We hope to see you soon, and we can't wait to help you find that perfect book!
